Can you believe it is the last week of August? Kids will be going back to school. Time to start thinking about packing healthy lunches. Not an easy thing to do. Healthy vs what they will eat.
Try getting them involved in making their lunch. I know, sometimes that is more of a hassle than just making it, but maybe just give them a choice. This or this
Homemade Lunchables are usually a big hit. Your child can pick the deli meat and cheese that they prefer. Peeled orange or grapes. Easy finger foods.
Change up the bread,use soft tortillas for wraps. Homemade Quesadillas is another option.
Don't forget some veggies. Cut up carrot stick, broccoli,cauliflower and celery with your childs favorite dip. Mine loved Ranch.
Remember the first week is usually a tough one for our little angels. Getting up early, long days ........ pack a little treat. They deserve it :)
