I have NO TIME

I have NO TIME
How many times have we said this? It is like we are on auto pilot. We get up, get the kids ready, drop them off to school or babysitter, go to work, come home, frantically find something for dinner, get kids ready for bed and then totally exhasted head for bed.
We are either thinking of the past or planning the future. The one thing that we forget to do is Live in the Moment.
I know for me when I am on auto pilot and I am tired or bored, it is easy for me to grab a cookie or something sweet as a pick me up. Or when you get home from work, completely exhausted, most of us just go to the fridge and mindlessly grab something. When you learn to get off of auto pilot and live in the moment, you will be truely amazed how you start paying attention. Slow down and ask yourself "what do I feel like" "what is good for me" Just that moment of pause can help you make better choices. It may sound simple enough, but it changes our mindset on how we treat our body.
So when you are complaining about I don't have time to exercise, pause and think what am I doing right now? Am I regretting time lost or planning future time? What about now? Do what you enjoy. Go for a walk or turn on some music, dance with the kids and husband. You will find that the laughter and fun you spend together in the moment is the best stress reducer you can find. The whole point being, stop the auto pilot and take moments in your life to enjoy!
